ABOUT SPENCER HARMAN

My name is Spencer Harman. My hobbies include playing basketball, soccer, and spending time with my friends. I am a senior at Wakefield School in the class of 2019. I chose to write about conservation because it is something that I truly care about. 
From a young age, my parents have taking me hiking, rafting, and swimming in different places across the United States. They read me junior ranger booklets about national parks as bedtime stories and encouraged me to explore the woods that were my backyard. As a result, I am very passionate about the Earth and preserving the natural wonders that it holds. 
In the Fall of 2020, I will be attending George Mason in pursuit of a degree in conservation. This path is a continuation of the one I started when I chose to write about this topic.
